Tine Industries Ltd. specializes in post-frame construction for farmers, ranchers, acreage owners, and rural businesses across Saskatchewan. We provide building sales, material supply, building erection, roofing, exterior finishing, and concrete foundation solutions where required for agricultural, commercial, and residential projects.
Our expertise includes large farm shops, cold storage buildings, barns, cattle sheds, calving barns, garages, and building additions. Every project is engineered to meet Saskatchewan snow and wind load requirements and can be built using a variety of foundation systems, including treated posts and grade beam foundations.

Why Tine?
We’re not the biggest builder in Saskatchewan, and we’re not trying to be. We focus on quality workmanship, honest communication, and buildings we’d be proud to put up on our own yard.
The Story
Tine Industries was founded in 2020 by Cody, a Fort Qu’Appelle local who saw a gap in how post-frame buildings were being put up around the prairies. Too many farmers were piecing together separate suppliers and crews to get a shop built — the supplier, the concrete crew, the framers, the finishers — and dealing with the delays and finger-pointing that come with it.
Tine was built to handle the post-frame work under one roof — sales, materials, building erection, roofing, exterior finishing, and concrete foundation solutions where required — so customers have one point of contact for the parts of the project we do. In 2025 we incorporated as Tine Industries Ltd.
We’re based in Fort Qu’Appelle and most of our work happens across Saskatchewan, but we travel for good jobs — we’ve built into Alberta and Manitoba and will go where the project takes us.
Construction runs deep in the Sinclair family.
More than a century ago, my great-great-grandfather, Hugh Evert Sinclair, built massive arch-rib barns across Saskatchewan and Alberta. Family photographs show him and his crew standing high above the ground constructing these impressive agricultural buildings with little more than hand tools, hard work, and determination. More than 100 years later, many of those barns—including the one pictured above—still stand across the Prairies, a lasting testament to the quality, craftsmanship, and pride that defined his work.
Although I grew up in High River, Alberta, my family’s roots remained firmly planted in Saskatchewan. Growing up, I spent countless hours listening to stories from my dad and grandpa about Saskatchewan, farming, hunting, and life on the Prairies. The stories of Saskatchewan whitetails, open country, hardworking people, and a way of life rooted in the land never left me.
From a young age, I was drawn to construction. There was something about building large structures that fascinated me. Looking back now, it seems only natural. Building has been part of our family’s story for generations.
I got my start in construction at 10 years old, working summers alongside family and friends. Whether it was hauling materials, cleaning up job sites, or helping wherever I could, those early experiences taught me the value of hard work, taking pride in what you build, and seeing a project through from start to finish. What began as summer work quickly grew into a passion for the construction industry and the satisfaction that comes from building something that will stand for generations.
In late 2014, I made the move back to Saskatchewan. Deep down, I always knew I would. The stories I grew up hearing, the people, the land, and the agricultural way of life had been calling me home for years. It didn’t take long to realize I was exactly where I was supposed to be.
Today, Tine Industries Ltd specializes in post-frame construction for farmers, ranchers, acreage owners, and businesses across Saskatchewan. We build shops, cold storage buildings, barns, garages, and agricultural facilities designed to serve generations of hardworking people.
While the tools and technology have changed dramatically since Hugh Sinclair’s time, the values remain the same. We believe a handshake still means something. We believe in showing up when we say we will. We believe in doing the job right the first time and standing behind our work.
Our goal isn’t to be the biggest builder in Saskatchewan.
Our goal is to build quality structures, earn the trust of our customers, and leave behind work we’re proud to put our name on.
Like Hugh Sinclair before us, we’re building for the people who feed, support, and strengthen our communities across the Prairies.
And we’re proud to carry that tradition forward.
